Introducing Jacky Luo

Jacky Luo is a recent graduate from Parsons the New School for Design. His thesis collection was inspired by theme of physical and emotional burdens from Tim O’ Brien’s The Things They Carried. The reinterpretation of military elements through lace and crystal detailing are reminiscent of the designer’s mother, who was a soldier in their eyes.
